Ilkley Brewery
The Ilkley Brewery is a multi-award winning craft brewery located in the Yorkshire spa-town of Ilkley.
Established in 2009, the business brought brewing back to the town after a gap of nearly 100 years and has a clear mission to brew world class beers in a traditional way but that are distinctive in style, flavour and character.
Ilkley Brewery has developed a succesful direct to consumer business in addition to its more traditional wholesale business. These two aspects of the business were being run from two seperate but linked websites on different platforms. We intially delivered a CRO startegy, but then were commissioned to implement the recomedations, which inculded combing the two websites on to one platform and developing their automated email marketing campaigns
REVIEW
As we completed the CRO audit it became quickly apprent that having the brewery’s internet prescence spread across two seperate platforms was not only making the adminstration of their marketing difficult, it was also detering potential customers and losing them revenue.
THINK
Using data from the two existing platforms and analytics tools, we delivered a CRO audit that pinpointed how to deliver a new improved unified web experience for the brewery and a timetable to acheive it.
DO
Using the requirements identified in the CRO audit we selected Shopify as the new combined platform for the brewery. We then built them a new website that delivered the CRO improments identifed in our report.
